The church covenant is equal parts promise, summary of expectations, ethical statement, and biblical standard. We summarize how we promise to live together as a church in the covenant. It forms the ethics, or the moral principles, of our worldview and holds out a biblical standard by which we live. Our acceptance of this multifaceted document follows the practice of believers throughout the centuries who have pledged to God and one another to live out the gospel in community. It is our God-given desire to spur one another on to live in light of a greater covenant, one initiated by love, sealed by sacrifice, and kept for eternity by our Savior, Jesus Christ.

From the time of the Apostles and the founding of the church, Christians have laid out key doctrinal beliefs in brief, definitive statements. What we believe at Williams Creek Baptist Church is not man originated concepts or beliefs. WCBC rests upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. As those who know God, we believe it necessary to set forth in a succinct manner the foundational truths of our church as revealed in God's Word. Our Statement of Faith is basic summary of biblical teaching that explains what we as a local church agree the Bible teaches about God, the Christ, the Bible, humanity, sin, the church, etc. Additionally, these foundational truths serve to strengthen our unity in Christ, and guard the church from error.

Our church constitution is a document that clearly delineates the governance upon which we have agreed upon that help us to function as a church. These are the procedures by which, among other things, we elect our leaders, add members to our church, remove members, and generally order ourselves as we seek to glorify God and edify each other.
