At Williams Creek Baptist Church, we are a people saved by God’s grace who desire to walk in obedience – loving God and loving our neighbors. The apostle Paul told the Galatian Church, "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me." It is in Him that we have our identity as believers and as an institution. Jesus promised to build His church and He continues that work to this day. The church is not a man-made institution. It belongs to Christ and He will continue to build His church until He returns.
Christ is the Cornerstone of the church and He is building it upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Essential doctrinal beliefs of the church have been forged upon this foundation since its inception. Following in the faithful steps of those who have gone before us, Williams Creek Baptist has adopted both a Church Covenant and a Statement of Faith that we make available here. In addition to these key doctrinal statements, we have also included our Church Constitution which delineates the governance and structure of our local body of Christ that is available here.
